We recently grabbed a table on Sunday for lunch, and were immediately struck by the interior designs and views. Not only is the sweeping view of the water immediately evident, but the kitchen is open and has a few bar seats to watch the chef do their magic! During warm summer months, the sun streams in all around offering up a very inviting vibe.

The full bar can get you what you’re looking for in a beverage, and not only are the cocktails numerous and refreshing, they even have a unique ice cube with the cursive A for Aerlume etched into the side!

Starters and are plentiful and inventive. Typical favorites like bread and cheese boards are at the ready, but the adventurous spirit in you will be pining for the dungeness crab lettuce wraps, chicken liver mousse, or the grilled spanish octopus. Try the latter and you won’t regret it!

Entrees are just as diverse, with Seattle staples of seafood like halibut and scallops offered alongside pastas, burgers, and steaks. We went with two old personal favorites, the king salmon and spicy fried chicken sandwich.

Dessert can’t be missed either. Among several mouth watering choices, we singled out the salted caramel pudding, a flavor we both are huge fans of.

Sitting on Elliott Bay looking out over the top landmarks as ferries drift by, Aerlume Seattle is a prime spot to enjoy a meal. With areas that can be closed off for private gatherings, personalized wines and all else, any veteran of the waterfront’s restaurants has to give it a go.
