Just hear the name Four Seasons and you’re likely to immediately think of luxury and for those looking at staying at the Four Seasons Seattle, I have exciting news that the hotel recently completed a pretty grand renovation.
These include upgrades to 147 spacious guest rooms and 13 luxury suites that have been designed with modern luxury, style and residential amenities in mind, while resurfacing the underlying beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
That luxury feel and Pacific Northwest tradition carries into the hotels restaurant, Goldfinch Tavern which is located next to the lobby and looks out over the majestic Puget Sound. This quality extends to the cuisine, and makes for one experience you won’t forget.
Seattle is a city of innovators, trending food experiences, and great wine all surrounded by the stunning backdrop of the Pacific Northwest,” says Angelica Palladino, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Seattle.
We enjoyed a romantic evening at a prime table looking out towards the Sound. Live music by local musician Enrique warmed our hearts and complemented our dinner with every string of the guitar. As mentioned, a full bar is at the ready to fulfill any drink request you have. But you’d be making a mistake if you skip their cocktail menu.
Being on the water, it’s no surprise we wanted to start the meal off with oysters. Several varieties are available at request, including fried and half shell. Also on the starters menu is numerous salads, with extra twists like chicken, radishes, and even crab.
Pasta and seafood are some of our favorite dishes, and Goldfinch’s menu has plenty of them. But after several highly recommendations, we ended up going with the steak and pork chop. Call the pork chop a dark horse candidate for the best meal of the month!
We wouldn’t have expected it, but at the waiter’s recommendation we gave it a try and it paid off handsomely. Tender to the perfect degree and nicely complemented with greens and potatoes, this is one dish that everybody needs to try.
Since the dessert menu looked a little too tempting, we stretched our limits to indulge ourselves. The butter banana dish is heavenly, but the coffee caramel donut holes were to die for. There are additionally numerous dessert wines and coffee to pair your dessert with.
Exceptional service, food, and views await at Goldfinch Tavern. Diverse options from starters to entrees to desserts give you no shortage of choices, and the elegance of the spot is cool, intimate, and sophisticated.
Even though the restaurant is located inside the Four Seasons Hotel, anyone is welcome to dine or grab a drink. Reservations are recommended as it can get a little busy during peak dinner hours, and especially now that summer has visited Seattle.
With the summer is full swing, why just dine at the Goldfinch when you can stay at the Four Seasons too! Plus, guests can take advantage of the popular INFINITY pool and bar looking out towards the Sound. So, kick off your shoes, lay back and relax and indulge in the Four Seasons Seattle recently renovated guest rooms and delectable dining at the hottest spot in town this summer.
