Cirque du Soleil premiered VOLTA Tuesday night under its iconic Big Top at Marymoor Park. With this new creation, the world’s entertainment leader is once again pushing the boundaries of circus arts by integrating high-adrenaline street sport disciplines, as well as electronic music created by international composer and musical director Anthony Gonzalez, from renowned group M83. VOLTA will be presented at Marymoor Park until November 4th.
Among the various guests present at the sold-out event were members of the Seattle Seahawks, Massive Monkees from MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew, the Seattle Mist, members from Rat City Roller Derby, Janie Hendrix, Molly Mesnick from ABC’s The Bachelor, Danny Bonaduce from KZOK-FM and The Partridge Family.

The Costumes
The stunning costumes of VOLTA have been designed by Zaldy Goco, famous for his work with Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani and for the TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race.
