High class, great food, and a central downtown location in the Loews Hotel 1000 (read our full review on the Lowes Hotel 1000), combine for one of the top seafood experiences in Seattle.
The Pacific Northwest is known for its cuisine deriving largely from the nearby sea, and the All Water Seafood & Oyster Bar is no exception. But don’t let that deter you if you’re not into seafood, there’s plenty of land-based food and a full bar on hand to satisfy your taste buds.
The bar is a traditional full selection of typical alcohols, but there’s a specialty cocktail menu to get you started on what to drink. We were attracted to the snow cone, a sweet concoction of liquor and fruit in the style of that favorite carnival treat, and it looked just as good as it tasted.
Obviously, our favorite for the starters was the oysters, and the varieties rotate depending on the season. You can limit yourself to just one, but if you’d like to sample from the multiple varieties we recommend at least four, or two of each. Aside from that, the Chowder Fries were a delicious combination of familiar fast food with a traditional soup from the sea.
If your fancy doesn’t include seafood, the main dishes of the prime fillet steak and roast half chicken are the perfect choices. Just looking at them in these photos makes our mouths water!
If you manage to save room following all of that, the dessert menu is full of lip smacking goodness. We always are suckers for cheesecake, so that’s always our go to pick, but every item is a mouthful of bliss.
They also serve breakfast and lunch, so don’t just mark them down as a dinner date option. With a menu of wide ranging style and delicious options at every turn, not to mention the central downtown location, this bar is a bright, enjoyable, and welcome place to take in the scenery and enjoy some great food.
